Hello Gang! Do you know who John Henry Faulk is? If you don't, do yourself a favor and look him up. You can Wikipedia him. He was a great Texan who became famous in the 40s and 50s as a TV and radio personality. Then he was falsely accused of being a Communist by this group of people who later admitted that their only motivation had been to damage his career. He sued for libel, and won, and his accusers recanted all their false statements, but his TV career was ruined anyway. However, his law-suit was a death-blow to the practice of blacklisting, and he wrote a fascinating book about the ordeal called "Fear on Trial." It was made into a TV movie with George C Scott in the 70s. Anyway, he said this great thing that I wanted to share with you. He said, "There's never anything the matter with democracy that a little more democracy won't help." Isn't that great? Don't you just love that? See you later. Love, Robert
